The scope of research activities includes, development and orbit demonstration of on-board devices for micro- and nano-satellites, high-accuracy attitude determination and control, scientific Earth observation, space environmental measurement, space-borne planetary observation, radio wave and optical satellite communications, deorbiting and post-mission disposal, space bioscience experiments, and moon / planetary exploration. More than 15 micro- and nano-satellites have been developed, launched, and operated in space as international projects. Several prizes and awards are received for the contribution to the advanced space development and utilization, as well as to the international space education for Asian countries.
