I have been Professor of Corporate Management at the Berliner Hochschule für Technik (BHT) since April 2023. Graduated in Industrial Engineering and Management with a technical specialization in Civil Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.), I also head the two BHT degree programs „Business Administration & Engineering - Civil Engineering (B.Eng.)“ and „Business Administration & Engineering / Construction-Technology and -Management (M.Sc.)“. I am also engaged as a lecturer for "Human Resources and People Management" and "International Management" in the „MBA Renewables“ program at BHT, as a management advisor and as a start-up mentor.My professional and academic background - especially from the last 22 years in management consulting and in the BASF Group - is characterized by: • vast practical corporate and personnel management experience from more than 25 medium-sized companies and large organizations in a wide range of industries,• the continuous development and transfer of my accumulated knowledge in the form of lectures, publications and conference speeches,• interdisciplinarity at the interfaces of business administration, engineering and law,• acquired core competencies and sound scientific expertise in corporate management, business transformation and project management, • living and working in an international environment in Europe, the USA and Russia.I am an enthusiastic and inspiring speaker at international conferences (Frankfurt, Zurich, Philadelphia, Charleston, Detroit etc.) on various management topics and author of numerous professional publications.I hold a doctoral degree in Industrial Management (Dr. rer. pol.) from European Business School, Oestrich-Winkel (Germany) and studied Industrial Engineering at Technical University of Berlin (Germany) and University of California at Berkeley, CA (USA).
