PresidentAustralasian Neuroscience Society Dec 2019 - PresentThe Australasian Neuroscience Society is a non-profit member-based organisation of scientific researchers and clinicians who study the brain, cognition, and nervous system structure and function in health and disease. Representing almost 1,000 neuroscientists in Australia and New Zealand, ANS supports its members through an Annual Scientific Meeting, quarterly newsletters, monthly bulletins, and various state based activities. ANS also runs a three-week hands-on advanced training course, the Australasian Course in Advanced Neuroscience (ACAN).The role of President is elected by members and the candidate serves one year as President Elect (12/2019 - 12/2020), two years as President (12/2020 - 12/2022) and one year as Past President (12/2022 - 12/2023).
