I took over this struggling lender with the intention of streamlining the lending process with chatbot-based automation and data-driven credit decisions. Plan was to offer an interest rate discount in exchange for weekly check-ins with chatbot. The chatbot would gauge financial stress based on borrower answers and predict which borrowers were at risk of default.Led a team to consolidate and reconcile loan origination data into a single ground truth. Designed and built a replacement loan management system to properly process loan book. Instilled a data-driven and process-driven culture to reduce manual errors and increase efficiency. Navigated company through COVID and a months-long debt collection moratorium and improved collection process to recover from years old defaulted loans. -

Winner of AO.com (UK retailer) startup competition for workflow automation via chatbots.During COVID, pivoted to building turnkey bots for an "AI workforce". These chatbots fulfilled complete roles within an organization. Our AI workforce included- Dudley: a natural language chatbot that adapted interview questions based on candidate experience and automatically scored responses. Candidates were told immediately after the interview whether they would get an in-person interview or not. By streamlining our interviewing process, we shortened time to hire to under a week.- Cassie: an AI sales assistant for solopreneurs. Cassie was designed to replace website modals with a chatbot that engaged users to understand their intent directly. Cassie automated portions of the Sandler sales process to identify a user's pain point and determine where in the sales process the user was. This information was collected and used to analyze user traffic more directly than with Google Analytics.- Proctor: a project management chatbot that monitored Kanban boards. Proctor ensured board rules were followed and that the board was regularly updated. Proctor automatically generated a daily standup report and release dates and posted them to a Slack channel. Developers saved time since they didn't need to post redundant information.I personally created the AI engine for classifying input and actions. Created a proprietary functional programming that was integrated into the chatbot platform. Users could write Excel-like formulae to read and process data to provide data-driven, personalized responses.
