Professor of Forensic and Bioanalytical Mass Spectrometry, Sheffield Hallam University.International Consultancy on Mass Spectrometry applications and method development.Research Interest: development of a robust analytical methodology via MALDI MSI to recover and process latent fingermarks and blood at crime scenes.It is hoped that in collaboration with the appropriate Police Forces (in UK and cross-countries), this technology can be framed in an operational flow-chart for high profile crimes.The Home Office continues to fund her research with the view to validate MALDI MSI and integrate it operationally in they forensic workflowSpecialties: Mass Spectrometry, particularly Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption Ionisation Mass Spectrometry Imaging.
