I then left Mercury and sought formal business training by attending SMU Cox's full-time MBA program (paid for by my stock options), where I met my entrepreneurship teacher and current mentor Jerry F. White. Mercury was later acquired by HP for $4.5 billion. This was my first startup experience (I was a very early employee in the Santa Clara office) and the company had such great success. I was spoiled and took this experience for granted....I now realize that a LOT of things have to go right to have this type of success! I had a lot of fun, learned a lot, and made friends for life, here and in Israel!
