Stephen Peake is Professor of Climate Change and Energy at the Open University, a Fellow of the Cambridge Judge Business School and Senior Associate of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge. He has worked at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, the International Energy Agency and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. Originally a physicist, he is an enthusiastic teacher, researcher, consultant and facilitator with over 30 years’ professional experience in the fields of climate and sustainability. His 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Show on climate science received several three star reviews. In 2021 he published a new popular science book 10 Short Lessons in Renewable Energy, Michael O’Mara Books, London. Stephen is an expert advisor for the Advertising Standards Authority and has worked on many cases involving carbon offsets, renewable energy, waste, energy efficiency, air quality and fuel additives.
