Responsible for the Integrity and Recording of the entire process and Issual of Marks Cards to students on behalf of the University.Author of well-accepted Textbooks of Chemistry/Biochemistry for B.Sc. students (Comprehensible Chemistry and Essential Chemistry). These textbooks were NOT intended as mere replacements for class-notes, but aimed to foster a true understanding of Chemistry, and included intriguing out-of-syllabus anecdotes and facts. Organized and moderated Bi-annual discussions of Chemistry and Biochemistry syllabi for the faculty of all the Colleges of Bangalore University.In association with the Dept. of Studies in Chemistry, Bangalore University organized several Teachers’ Workshops and Talks by eminent Scientists.Member of the Core Group of Teachers to draft Syllabi in Chemistry and Biochemistry for the Semester Scheme of Bangalore University.

As a volunteer-teacher, taught Chemistry to students with cerebral palsy at the Secondary School level and carried out Chemistry experiments as demonstrations. Of the 3 students taught, one secured distinction, one secured a First Class and the other a Second class at the S.S.L.C. examinations.I feel this was one of the high points of my teaching career!
