During my internship at VPCI, I gained practical experience in various virology lab techniques, focusing on both fundamental and advanced methods. My key responsibilities and learning outcomes included:Protein extraction, quantification, and qualitative analysis.RNA extraction and plasmid isolation.Developing proficiency in cell culture techniques, including cell passaging and counting.Conducting a Hemagglutination (HA) test and biomedical waste management procedures.Exposure to rRT-PCR for COVID-19 detection.This internship enhanced my technical skills in virology and deepened my understanding of laboratory protocols, data analysis, and scientific documentation.
