Focused especially on the getting the MPLS WAN and VoIP deployment to 35 International locations using Cisco Unified Communications VoIP solution back on track. Directed via an infrastructure Program Office multiple IT project delivery teams focused on implementing strategic IT initiatives including: Created and managed a Program Management Office (PMO) to conduct a multi-year, multi-million dollar, phased redevelopment of JFK International Airport, Miami International Airport, and a new international terminal at Dallas Ft. Worth International Airport. Deployed Information Technology during construction and renovation. This program coordinated the design and implementation of IT components including Applications Development, Shared Systems, Desktops/Servers/Printers, Cabling, HVAC, Local-Area-Networks, Wide-Area-Networks, Information Display Systems, Radio, CCTV, Wireless, and Telephony/Communications. Implemented a MPLS Wide-Area-Network for 230 domestic and 190 international locations, saving in excess of $10 million over five years. Implemented ahead of schedule and under budget.Planned a $70 million technology refresh project with a team of 80 engineers and project managers delivering 4,500 new computers and 600 new servers configured with new operating systems and applications. Established repeatable processes for the system-wide replacement of voice networks and telephone systems to reduce costs and improve service at 94 locations using Cisco and Nortel VoIP technology reducing costs and improving efficiencies.Managed a $145 million program for the replacement of a legacy network at 500 locations. The scope included new cable distribution system and fiber optic backbone to support switched 100MB to each device, redundant gigabit uplinks, and Layer 3 switching (Cisco) at the core and distribution layers.
