Project Pal is an online social networking site designed to solve the problem of students who feel disconnected with peers who are attending the same college/university and are in the same major. The site is specifically for college/university communities. Project Pal provides opportunities for students to connect with their peers with ease, eliminating the stress and anxiety that comes along with starting a new academic year. Project Pal provides a platform for students to connect, communicate, and share their academic experience with other students. Project Pal is the only social networking site that provides a different approach to on campus networking, by facilitating an easy and accessible forums for students to reduce the stress that over 60% of them are already feeling.We ultimately want to enhance the academic experience for students across the entire nation. Project Pal will have two versions of our product, free and premium, available to our users. Our free version will give users the options to create their profile and read peer reviews. The premium version will have the additional options such as instant messaging, access to study materials, the ability to review other users, and access to buy/sell/trade textbooks option.
