Magin Patrick transformed what could have been a life defined by hardship into one driven by purpose and passion. As the co-founder of Project Hawai’i, Inc., a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit, she has dedicated herself to breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty for Hawai’i's children. Project Hawai’i, Inc. is supported entirely by public donations and offers year-round programs, including direct outreach to unsheltered children, impactful holiday events, and, most notably, life-changing educational summer camps and teen mentorship initiatives.Magin’s entrepreneurial spirit has been instrumental in developing unique programs that empower teens to discover their passions, find purpose, and become agents of change in their communities. Her leadership in establishing robust teen mentoring and internship programs has not only given young people the tools to succeed but also inspired them to envision and create a better world.Since its inception, Project Hawai’i, Inc. has proudly helped over 2,000 homeless children escape the cycle of poverty. Magin's innovative approach, combined with the organization’s core mission, has made a lasting impact on Hawai’i’s youth, positioning the organization as a leading force in the fight against child homelessness across the islands.
