I wrote over 100 columns for NWjobs.com (The Seattle Times) on how to get hired. This included covering topics such as how Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) screen resumes, the impact of Vendor Management Systems (VMS) on job seekers, interviewing strategies, resume tips, cover letters, LinkedIn usage, networking, salary negotiation, and more.Additionally, I conducted interviews with companies and shared their specific hiring strategies. The goal of my column was to provide people with the edge in the job market.

With Stan Emert, I co-hosted an entire season of a weekly TV show called "How to Get a Job in Seattle," providing professionals in transition with an edge in the job market.The show covered various topics, including how recruiters in Seattle profile applicants, developing a successful career search marketing plan, leveraging online and offline relationships to get insider hiring tips, and more.

Recruited by the largest online travel company to initiate and lead two critical projects: directing the global sourcing initiative of software development and testing projects to India, China, and Russia; and leading the Data Helpdesk team through reorganization by creating and improving processes, outsourcing non-critical functions, and staffing a well-qualified US team.• Chaired the GSI Committee Board, representing multiple business units such as legal, finance, worldwide product development, IT, information security, and procurement. Discussed and created long-term policies, procedures, and budgets regarding the new global sourcing initiatives.• Improved processes related to new SOW creation, offshore interviewing and management strategies, contract negotiation, remote connectivity, and application access.• Initiated and co-presented cross-cultural and diversity training for development and test managers on successfully managing and leading an offshore team.• Directed the rollout of VMWARE and Network Load Balancing (NLB) to create a scalable environment for remote application access to all offshore teams.• Consulted with IT and Enterprise Information Security (EIS) to design a secure isolated Active Directory network that connected offshore vendors to Expedia.com, Hotels.com, and Hotwire.com internal infrastructures, utilizing Juniper VPN and Citrix 2.0 technologies.

Partner Program Manager (Microsoft Office Live)Managed the global early adopter program for Office Live, which included recruiting, enrolling, and supporting global external partners.
