I have been working on different interdisciplinary research projects with other departments and industries. The collaboration include subjects in Material Science, Fluid and Heat transfer, Electro-Chemistry, Economics, and Architecture. 1. Developed a numerical model to predict microstructure, thermal and mechanical responses, and the mechanical properties in Ti-6Al-4V and Inconel 718 products built by the selective laser sintering: Advised by Prof. S.C. Yao, Prof. Anthony Rollett, and Prof. Chris Pistorius through the collaboration with CIMP-3D from Penn State University. 2. Collaborated with Ductmate Industries, Inc. to develop the prototype of the phase change material (PCM) waste heat recovery to improve the energy efficiency of the HVAC system: Advised by Prof. S.C. Yao 3. Carried out the techno-economic study of the flare gas recovery system by an electrochemical cell. Advised by Prof. Venkat Viswanathan4. Designed and improved the thermal characteristic of the Trombe wall by the integration of the phase change material, modification of surface structure, as well as the use of thermo-chromic coating to improve the thermal performance. 1. Engineered a wind turbine-powered pumping system aimed at boosting agricultural productivity and supporting sustainable farming practices.2. Conducted a comprehensive financial feasibility analysis to ensure cost-effectiveness and scalability of the proposed system.3.
