With over 30 years of Commercial Property experience Mark has previously worked at KPMG LLP where he created the Real Estate Advisory Services Team in the UK. In 2013 Mark created Real Estate Advisory Services Ltd to provide property advice to corporates and property investors across the UK to maximise cost reduction opportunities, enhance property values and optimise property portfolios.Mark regularly works for Banks, Lawyers, occupiers, investors as well as Insolvency Practitioners to create property strategies that are tailored to maximise value, reduce property costs or to optimise the property portfolio.

Mark has a broad range of Real Estate experience with over 30 years in the commercial Real Estate sector.Mark is responsible for advising clients across a range of commercial sectors, helping them to develop and implement flexible strategies to respond to their changing needs and the challenges of the market place. He advises on Real Estate matters throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide.He is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Mark is also a member of the Institute for Turnaround.

Mark joined KPMG to create the Real Estate Advisory team in the UK. Initially working on insolvency appointments within the South West Region, Mark quickly gained a national role for the entire Insolvency Team throughout the UK.Mark has worked on many high profile appointments including KPMG's own property portfolio, many high street retailers (including Threshers Wine, Peacocks, HMV, Woolworths) and many PLC's within the UK. During his time at KPMG Mark had developed strategies and solutions for the Restructuring assignements but also real estate solutions for mergers and acquisitions (clients of Transaction Services and Corporate Finance), valuation review (Audit departments) and property strategies for high net worth individuals (Private Client teams). Mark continually adapted his solutions based upon the clients needs. He has worked with a wide range of clients in an increasingly wide range of sectors (from retail, call centres, manufacturing, property investors, leisure - including hotels, golf courses and pubs). Mark has also undertaken work throughout Europe, Asia and the USA.

Mark started his graduate placement at DTZ in their Bristol Office. Being a relatively small office Mark was able to work on a wide variety of instructions from valuation, agency and property management.Having passed his APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) at his first attempt Mark moved into the Law of Property Act Receivership team where he worked with Banks, lawyers and Insolvency Practitioners.
