Program Manager
Current Lead the design and refinement of SNV's food security, livelihoods and resilience activities, and develop detailed work plans and budgets for all implemented activities Contribute to the development of SNV’s Market Systems Development and Financial Inclusion approaches. Articulate strategic direction and provide oversight and strategic leadership on the implementation of the livelihood and resilience programmes Promote professional development by identifying training and capacity building opportunities, provide on-the-job training and build competencies of the team members to create an enabling environment for action and performance Collaborate with other WFP cooperating partners to leverage on the humanitarian assistance programmes such as Food Assistance for Assets (FFA) and Lean Season Assistance (LSA) to create a holistic package to offer medium-term transition support to enable graduation of households from humanitarian assistance and pave the way to sustainable livelihoods. Track budget expenditure against activity implementation, recommending necessary budget line adjustments or budget review to in a timely manner Manage implementation and grants while adhering to plans and donor contractual requirements. These include the WFP, USAID, SDC, French Government and any other funding. Support the development of program learning – identify opportunities for learning, research and publications. Contribute to development of new programs and to preparation of proposals and budgets for Food security, livelihood and resilience interventions Profile and position SNV as a credible development partner to the Government, donors, private sectors, research institutions and other development partners through coordination, capacity support, joint programming and evidence generation
