 Lead the design and refinement of SNV's food security, livelihoods and resilience activities, and develop detailed work plans and budgets for all implemented activities Contribute to the development of SNV’s Market Systems Development and Financial Inclusion approaches. Articulate strategic direction and provide oversight and strategic leadership on the implementation of the livelihood and resilience programmes Promote professional development by identifying training and capacity building opportunities, provide on-the-job training and build competencies of the team members to create an enabling environment for action and performance  Collaborate with other WFP cooperating partners to leverage on the humanitarian assistance programmes such as Food Assistance for Assets (FFA) and Lean Season Assistance (LSA) to create a holistic package to offer medium-term transition support to enable graduation of households from humanitarian assistance and pave the way to sustainable livelihoods. Track budget expenditure against activity implementation, recommending necessary budget line adjustments or budget review to in a timely manner Manage implementation and grants while adhering to plans and donor contractual requirements. These include the WFP, USAID, SDC, French Government and any other funding. Support the development of program learning – identify opportunities for learning, research and publications. Contribute to development of new programs and to preparation of proposals and budgets for Food security, livelihood and resilience interventions Profile and position SNV as a credible development partner to the Government, donors, private sectors, research institutions and other development partners through coordination, capacity support, joint programming and evidence generation

 Conducting value chain analyses and recommend value chain development strategies to improve coordination, market access and income in targeted value chains Developing and supporting business linkages between Producer groups and private sector (output markets, financial service providers, business support services)  Developing the capacity of farmer producer groups and SMEs to develop business plans and bankable project proposal for funding Support farmer producer groups to develop marketing strategies and business models that enhances their competitiveness Developing the capacity of Producers groups to identify and respond to business opportunities through training, mentoring and accompaniment  Facilitate business management trainings (Farming as a Business (FaaB), Agrodealer training, Financial Literacy) to Project Partners and Project Clients  Contribute in the development and review of agribusiness training materials Monitoring and report project progress against the set targeted results  Maintaining technical oversight on the project budget Supervising Community Based Marketing Officers  Developing and maintaining good stakeholder relations

 Developing, reviewing and refining marketing models and strategies that improve farmers’ access to markets. Facilitate market linkages between farmer groups and the private sector players Developing value addition strategies to enhance market value of produce Promoting the Agro-dealer approach for market-based input delivery and provision of output marketing options  Conducting training needs assessment for the farmer groups and provide demand driven training Training District Level AGRITEX teams, Partners and Project Field Assistants in Marketing and Farming as a Business through Training of Trainers (ToTs) Effectively engage communities, local leadership and other stakeholders in designing, planning and rolling out component activities Assist M&E in the development of component monitoring tools  Assist in identifying, developing, documenting and sharing case studies and best practices Contribute to the budgeting process and maintaining technical oversight of the project budget, resources and assets Preparation of timely component monthly progress reports  Supervise project staff
