Pro-Tec Plumbing, Water & Gas is a family-owned, full service plumbing, water and gas company serving Collier and Lee Counties. Our Master Plumber Richard Hume founded Pro-Tec Plumbing, Inc. in 2008 with a few tools and containers of fittings out of the back of his pickup truck. Like every great entrepreneur he worked day and night, handing out flyers to get new customers and contacts. Despite a severe downturn in 2009, Pro-Tec Plumbing persevered; every year, the company expanded the platform and capabilities by adding new people, trucks and equipment. In 2011 Brandon, Rick's younger brother and our vice president, joined our team to help Rick with the operations and financial aspects of the business. Pro-Tec Plumbing has now grown into a thriving mid-size company with a team of just under forty skilled professional field technicians and talented office staff members. Tapping into Pro-Tec Plumbing’s experience and the growing needs of our community, we have found a need from our customers who face the challenge of finding a dependable company to provide water treatment and gas services.
