Leading the accelerated Adolescent Enpowerment Programme and Ending Child Marriage through systems strengthening and developing inter-sectoral convergence in West Bengal. - Conceptualised and led a study endorsed by the Directorate of Social Welfare on Child Labour in Bidi Industry and other occupations in Dhuliyan Municipality of Murshidabad through CRY partner. - Supported in redrafting of National Policy for Children with Indian Alliance for Child Rights- Provided technical support to Partners/Resources Organisations for implementing programmes addressing the needs of survivors of Child Trafficking, Children in Urban Difficult circumstances, sick tea gardens, engaged in bidi rolling, in red light areas, on the move and without parental care through activation and access to the Juvenile Justice System/Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS) and related laws/entitlements. - Developed a programme of Model Building on effective Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation for assessing Learning Outcomes in the realm of Quality Education in a school in Monteswar Block, Bardhaman. It was the basis of taking it forward to 15 Government aided schools in the Block through engagement with the District & State Education Department. - Coordinated and strategised with the Consortium of Civil Society Organisations, CRY Partners and the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) for documenting and placing the cases of violations on the Right to Education Act through Public Hearings in the State.- Mentored the partner working with children in contact with the railways to advocate with the NCPCR for developing a Standard Operating Procedure for Protection of this category of CNCP by Indian Railways.- Undertook the entire budgeting of the State for disbursal. Identified new partners and projects in West Bengal through alignment of the State Strategy, Programme Management and Financial Risk Management of the partnerships. - Supported the interdependency with Media Advocacy, Communication Division through providing content, development of audio-visual & IEC as CRY property and liaising with media for highlighting issues of children.

- Designed the processes of Child Participation in decision making for partner interventions in the state. Analysed and documented the different approaches at the National level and presented CRY’s approach to Child Participation in Kathmandu.- Mentored partner working on Mental Health for developing modules for school based Life Skills programmes in partnership with select schools and Education Department. - Provided technical inputs on Systemic engagement for developing synergy at the Regional and National level to advocate collectively on Institutional Care Standards in Odisha, Bihar, Manipur and West Bengal. - Developed the C.B programmes for Partners based on the Training Needs and assessment of the trainings.- Developed a programme for alternative livelihood for adolescent girls and women’s collective to address the issue of alternative economic empowerment of bidi workers in Murshidabad.- Introduced the system of participation of community people in project planning, monitoring and evaluation; this resulted in more community ownership and sustainability of the program. - Undertook Process Documentation of partners and other related documentation, impact analysis on the partner’s intervention.

- Guided the partner on Community Based Rehabilitation Programme for Children with Disability, strengthening linkage of community with Government hospitals and livelihood options for families. - Coordinated the strengthening of Quality Institutional Care & Alternatives for Children along with the Juvenile Justice System in Delhi with focus on developing Foster Care Rule for the State. - Supervised the Study on Quality of the Homes under Juvenile Justice Act in Delhi & Uttar Pradesh for the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. - Developed an approach paper on Child Participation for the organsiation based on which programming on participation was evolved. - Strengthened the process of the alliance (Delhi Bal Adhikar Manch) and broad based it. - Introduced the system of Process Documentation of all partners in Delhi.- Undertook training needs, appraisals and monitoring of projects across Delhi.- Co-facilitated PRA workshop with PRAXIS for University of Kashmir Students.

- Developed and led the programme at the State through a consortium of Civil Society Organisations, Adoptive Parents Organsations and Human Rights Law Network for formulating the Special Adoption Bill and presenting it before the Standing Committee of Social Welfare in the W.B Assembly for consideration.- Led the team for the study of J.J Homes in West Bengal and Manipur on the Quality Care Standards as part of the study for Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment with CRY. - Developed Quality Care Standards as the State Resource Person for promoting Quality Institutional Care Standards as part of CRY’s national Programme.- Undertook a review of comparative Situational Analysis (Indo-Bangladesh) of the Juvenile Justice System with SCF, U.K, Bangladesh.- Led the process of developing Standard Operating Procedure for Repatriation of Boy Children with Bangladesh High Commission, Bangladesh National Women Lawyers Association and Directorate of Women and Child Development, West Bengal. - Undertook trainings for West Bengal Police and RPF on the roles of Police as enshrined in the J.J Act.- Worked with American Centre, Child Welfare League of America and Directorate of Women and Child Development for developing Alternative Care models for children in Need of Care and Protection.

Undertook direct intervention with children in Government Institutions, developed restoration and repatriation procedures for de-institutionalisation, developed alternative vocational skills programme for After Care boys, trained adolescents on Life Skills, Sex and sexuality, STI’s and HIV/AIDS, trauma management, promoted mainstreaming through volunteer visits to reduce discrimination.- Developed interstate rescue and rehabilitation process for children trafficked/engaged for labour with EQUATIONS, Bangalore - Conducted trainings and workshops with the Government & Non-governmental Care Givers of Children’s Home on Child Protection and Juvenile Justice Act.- Established referrals in Government Hospitals and NGO’s for the health care (general and sexual health) of the adolescents living on streets and on railway platforms. - Initiated the Mentoring and Vocational Training Programmes for boys in Children Home for effective Rehabilitation and mainstreaming.
