As the Director of Engineering & Fabrication, I apply my experience and expertise in aerospace engineering, product and process development, and design for manufacturing & assembly to create cutting-edge solutions & experiences. I hold multiple certifications and I am proficient in hands-on skills needed for robotics, electromechanical systems, high voltage applications, embedded systems programming, 3D printing, PCB design, and rapid prototyping.My passion for learning, creating, and teaching drives me to seek new challenges and opportunities in engineering and related fields. I have successfully completed projects for clients such as the U.S. Navy, Disney, Volvo, NASA, and Canon, delivering high-quality results and exceeding expectations. My favorite solo contract I’ve ever designed and built was a 14ft tall particle accelerator that generated over 1 million volts. I’ve made over 5 particle accelerators for low energy nuclear research. My favorite team project would be working at NASA over 10 years ago on non-invasive propellant estimation in a zero gravity environment. This experiment then flew on the Blue Origin New Shepard rocket that’s in the lobby! That mission proved out the technology, Modal Propellant Gauging(MPG),to be used by NASA in the Artemis program.I am also available for contract engineering services, design reviews, consultations, and educational opportunities.
