Rodrigo obtained a degree in pharmacy and biochemistry with a specialization in clinical analysis (FCFRP/USP) and a PhD in clinical medicine (FMRP/USP) before he conducted postdoctoral research in Hematology and Molecular Biology (QMUL/UK). He has worked as a postgraduate teaching assistant at the University of Franca (2001-2006) and as a professor of immunology at the Catholic University of Pelotas (2013-2014).He has published numerous articles in the fields of oncology, hematology, genetics, and molecular biology, and worked for four years as a scientific advisor at Grupo Fleury (2006 - 2011). He was a member of the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) and Mantle Cell Lymphoma Research Consortium.He has served as CEO/owner in an umbilical cord blood bank franchise (2012-2014) and as CEO/co-owner of Laboratório Antonello (2012-2019), where he developed his management, communication, and marketing skills and led the M&A with Grupo Exame (2019). He worked for DASA as a business consultant for diagnosis enterprises in southern Brazil from 2020 until 2023.Currently, he holds the position of COO and R&D, co-owner at Flow Diagnosticos, a specialized high-complexity laboratory focusing on onco-hematology. Here, I oversee operations, research, and development, leveraging my expertise in flow cytometry, molecular biology, genomics, and cytogenetics.He is an investor in WoW Accelerator and member of the Follow-on Committee, as well as an associate at the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance.He loves cooking (has trained as a professional chef), scuba diving, and kite surfing.
