Confident in dealing with any difficult situations and finding logical and practical solutions. With his experience in many industries such as Aerospace, Micro Electronics, Automotive, Consumer Electronics, Robotics etc., he brings innovative solutions to customers design challenges, David believes there is always a solution to a problem. David served a 4 year apprenticeship whilst studying design, thermo dynamics, materials, light electronics, radio theory and theory of structures. In his late 20’s David obtained his Post-Graduate in Industrial Management. As a consultant to Amtech now Branson worked in Eastern Europe and India resolving ultrasonic metal welding issues, whilst working for Thomas & Betts, now TE Connectivity he was European Engineering Manager with engineers from 8 countries reporting to him. David moved to China in 2004 as part of a small team for Bookham Technologies who developed fiber optic transmitters and receivers to setup manufacturing in Shenzhen.David served for 18 years as a member of the HM Coastguard search and rescue teams in Devon, 8 years as Station Officer.
