I am a international Business major and future professional in the financial sector. My passion for business and finance brought me to The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where I pursued a Bachelors degree in International Business with a specialization in Finance & Accounting. During my studies I have gained a wealth of in-depth knowledge on the topics and methods used to acquire knowledge, costs combined with market dynamics and the firm’s profitability, decision-making processes of managers as well as incremental analysis. Also, in Financial Statement Analysis I learned how to analyze the performance of competitors in an industry in terms of activity, efficiency, profitability, and solvency ratiosDuring my studies, I participated in a successful project where I managed a business financials and I made financial recommendations for it's successful expansion overseas. In this project, I was able to sharpen and apply my financial skills as I was also given the ability to execute research and analysis skills that I developed over the period of my studies. What I valued most during the course of that project and by extension my studies, is the opportunity to work within an intercultural environment. With this, I improved my verbal and nonverbal communication skills.My academic pursuit has equipped me with the competencies in Financial Managerial Decision Making, Corporate Finance, Financial Statement Analysis, as well as an introduction to Financial Technology. As I continue to expand my skill set, I have all the confidence that this will continue to shape me as a Financial professional. Presently, I am proudly receiving much quality experience as I obtain a deeper insight in the financial sector.
