As an ardent proponent of digital inclusion, I am deeply committed to leveraging technology and innovation as powerful tools to bridge the digital divide. With a wealth of experience collaborating with governments, NGOs, and IGOs, I have been actively involved in promoting connectivity for development and creating inclusive digital solutions.One of my notable roles was serving as the founding chairperson for the Payment Association of Namibia e-Money forum, where I spearhead efforts to drive interoperability and open banking initiatives. Additionally, I also take great pride in being a founding director of the ICT Professionals Association of Namibia, an organization dedicated to advancing the ICT sector in the country.In the past, I had the privilege of serving as an advisory council member to the Alliance for Affordable Internet (www.a4ai.org), contributing to their mission of making the internet more accessible and affordable worldwide. Currently, I serve on the Advisory Council for the Africa ICT Alliance (www.aficata.org), for which I also served as the deputy chairperson, where I actively contribute to shaping the ICT landscape in Africa.Furthermore, my involvement extends to being a former board member of the ISOC Namibia chapter, where I contribute to fostering a safe and open internet environment. Additionally, I have had the privilege of serving as a member of the United Nations Internet Governance Forum's Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group (MAG), offering insights and perspectives on important digital governance matters.Through my engagements I have gained a comprehensive global perspective on the challenges we face in ensuring equitable opportunities for all in the rapidly evolving digital age. I remain dedicated to driving positive change and fostering digital inclusion at every opportunity.
