Individual Role:1. My Role involved development of new functionality to the existing Self Serve Portal application and resolving bugs/issues from time to time in production. AMEX (American Express) – GNS Analytics(Global Networking System)The application caters to automate and provide industry commission rates by AMEX credit card to various third party industries like travel, hotel, and other service industries. The specific module that worked upon does mass upload of the industry commission details with a GUI screen and features to create new records, to end date current records, to create future records where a current or past record exists, and delete future records.Individual Role:-1. My Role involved creating PSU Inbox screen/GUI and providing functionality to create new records, to end date current records, to create future records where a current or past record exists, and delete future records. Used existing stored procedure of Oracle.2. Testing the functionality created above for proper response and performance. Environment: Java 1.4, Struts 1.2, Oracle 10i, Eclipse Indigo.2. AMEX (American Express) – GTT (Global Travel and Ticketing)This is basically a major migration project with Amex (American Express) from Tomcat 5.5 to 6.0. The application has Message Queue, Web services, and Struts frame work implementation in the middle tier and backend being Oracle 10G. The system caters to the travel clients by providing flight ticketing, Hotel booking, meals options etc. Major task has been to upgrade the application server from Tomcat 5.5 to Tomcat 6.0 by bringing in all the artifacts of the application and resolve the migration issues.Individual Role:-3. My Role involved to mitigate issues/exceptions arising out of bring in artifacts of the existing application step by step by changing the configuration, upgrading the jar etc.4. Testing the web services requests using Jmeter for proper response and performance. Environment: WinSCP 4.2.1, Putty 0.6, Unix, JMeter, Java/JDK 4.0, FileZilla 3.5, Beyond Compare 3.0.

Involved in development of production issues/bugs and enhancements in the OVM (Order Validation Module). Basically OVM is a middle-tier J2EE API which encapsulates almost all of the business validations from Front end. For example, new service validations, option-request validations, account validations, activation validations, etc., were few of the main validation processes taken care by the middle-tier API. Front end can be any of the Online Access Retailers, Sprint shops, Dealers like Best Buy, which passes the customer information to this middle-tier and upon successful validation passed on for FAST (Activation), Amdocs and backend processes.

I am responsible for providing Production Support for current IVR TT and IVR Reporting middleware system and also manage Problem management, Change Management and coordinate Development initiative in new TSC projects. Main roles involve 24X7 support to current IVR MW system applications like IVR TT MW and IVR Reporting.

MTS is a telecommunication provider for commerical customers (non-residential) including different other network elements like VPN, wireless, wireline, and other commerical requirements. The project focussed on the L3 automation effort. There was a effort to upgrade the present CDMA customers base to new HSPA technology. The project consisted of customization of third party provisioning solutions.Personal Role1. Used Spring web-flow, Websphere Application server/RAD and developed Layer-3 auto-provisioning system. Individually responsible for creating web flows, GUI development using JSP/XSLT/XSD technology.2. Responsible for migrating DB2 data of the existing customers to MySQL database using MySQL utility.3. Involved in the customizing of the third-party provisioning/multi-activation solution according to the requirement of the MTS Allstream, for various network elements in the upgraded HSPA environment. The project involved development of Java code from WSDL and XML Beans. Involved in web services implementation using SOAP/XSLT/XSD. Demonstrated Ericsson EMA simulation to colleagues who were involved in other part of this development to understand provisioning various telecommunication (voice/data) features.

Telus Communications Inc is a telecommunication giant providing latest 3G+ network telecommunication facilities. I could take part in the technology solutions infrastructure project, which is the Canada largest project involving more than 500 resources distributed widely all over the world. This project has been running for around 5 years using wider set of billing products like Enabler, Amdocs. The objective being to completely automate the Telus services from customer enquiry, Automated Service Fulfilment, Financial gateway, payment gateway, Product Catalogue, till billing.

Organic is a Leading Digital Marketing agency and cater for major automobile manufacturers like Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and clients like American Express Bank who require updates on their website on a weekly/daily basis mostly for introducing various promotions, news updates, scheme changes etc. These promotions/enhancements may involve creating flash images/animations/swf, photoshop jpg/other formats, news update (XHTML/XML/XSL/CSS) etc.
