I am a Ph.D. candidate in ECE at the University of California, Davis and am a user affiliate at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBL). I am working as a Graduate Research Assistant at Radulaski Lab (R-Lab), UC Davis. We are focusing on SiC color centers and their integration with nanophotonic devices to observe new light-matter interaction phenomena and make better use of them as quantum emitters. This yields interesting applications in quantum computation, quantum communication, and quantum information processing. My research focuses on designing novel structures, transferring the designs from simulation to working devices using nanofabrication, and characterizing the devices with table-top optical setup(s). I have served as a Lecturer in the Department of EEE at East Delta University from Spring 2019 to Summer 2020. In this tenure, apart from taking classes, I have worked with numerous students to build up a culture of research in photonics. I earned a B.Sc. with Honours from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE). During my undergraduate, I worked with computational photonics and modeled 2D photonic crystals using MEEP and MPB.
