I was the winner of the family lottery, that is, I grew up in a very loving, sheltered and nurturing environment. Ever since childhood, I had a deep love for reading, probably inspired by seeing my elder sisters always reading something or the other at all times. I loved cricket and still doI came to IIT Delhi in July 2013 and that marked the beginning of the most eventful part of life. Here I met some incredibly sharp people who were extremely passionate about what they were doing. I became a part of an environment that bred the spirit of 'can do, will do' among its inhabitants. It cuts across regions and languages and helps us in conversing in a universal language that we all intuitively know but cannot articulate our thoughts in. It can help in driving home messages that simple language and facts cannot. Wall Art, in particular, is an extremely influential form of Art because it enjoys a public reach that is rarely possible for any other art form. But with Great Power, comes Great Responsibility! The New Art is well aware of that. We try to come up with positive, concept-based artworks for big walls. We believe that wall art can stimulate reactions in people, it can influence people for the better. We believe art can serve a higher purpose than what it is given credit for.------------------SOME OTHER THINGS THAT I DID IN THE PAST BUT DID NOT KNOW WHERE TO PUT ON MY LINKED PROFILE-TEDx speaker-Co-founded a not-for-profit organization called Excelsior India which designed bags made out of cardboard which could double up as writing desks.-Was involved in starting an initiative wherein college students collected waste paper from various residential colonies and subsequently got them recycled to get notebooks which were then distributed among underprivileged kids-Served as a mentor in 'Nurturing Nation' where we mentored kids who were preparing for the IIT Joint Entrance Examination which is one of the toughest examinations in the world.
