As an events coordinator at ZITF, l was responsible for planning and organizing the Connect Africa Symposium (CAS), including developing concepts, managing logistics, and creating detailed plans. I handled vendor management, negotiated with service providers, and ensured smooth coordination between all parties involved. Key duties also include liaising with delegates to ensure attendance, developing and inviting necessary diplomats to grace the event, selecting and contacting the right speakers for the symposium,managing and delegating tasks to assistants and resolving any issues that arose,monitoring and evaluating the event. Additionally, l oversaw promotion and marketing efforts to boost event visibility and handle on-site management to ensure the event ran smoothly from setup to teardown.lastly l did reporting and documentation of the event.
