Audit and Forensics found me.Like many students, I studied what I had a bursary to study rather than what I was interested in. This was the case with Financial Information Systems.Everything changed when I walked into an Auditing lecture one day. I immediately applied for Internal Auditing, attended extra modules, and completed my Diploma in Internal Auditing with distinctions. I am presently pursuing my Fraud Examiner Certificatification with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. I enjoy the realm of auditing and how it complements my analytical abilities. I eventually picked Forensics as my expertise because I want to make a significant difference in how corporations achieve not just their economic objectives but also their social impact milestones. I have 5 years of work experience and have been learning and developing my abilities to improve my competency in risk assessment and internal auditing as an intended career objective. Though I have not held an auditing job, I have proactively taken on and used an impact approach to my work, which has allowed me to practise and apply some of my theory while generating significant changes to the business processes.Thank you for visiting my profile and I look forward to engaging with your further.
