Schema47 developed frameworks, experiences and technologies which sit outside the traditional categories of art and science, to explore the nature of the world and our participation in it. Through an ongoing collaboration we also hoped to learn how scientists and artists can collaborate to enhance their own research projects and practices, questioning what kind of intellectual, practical and theoretical tools we can share.

I have been working as a freelance strategist, developer and content creator with a focus on the Education and Cultural sectors. Selected clients include Caltech, ArtCenter Pasadena, Getty Research Institute, Leiden University and the University of Minnesota.Some highlights include:- A core member of a fully distributed, cross functional team who produced a number of blockchain powered applications to improve the sharing of large scale data sets in the scientific community.- Lead a cross functional team in a website transformation project for the Media Design Practices program at ArtCenter Pasadena. A design MFA at ArtCenter in emerging technologies, critical frameworks, and experimental studio practices.- Cofounder, Product Manager and Technical Lead for Sound Travels - a rapid and nimble response to shifting social conditions, aiming to connect professional musicians with opportunities, education and equipment.- Lead developer for large scale transformation of a non profit website which aims to relieve hunger in New York by maximizing participation in, and support for, federally funded nutrition assistance programs like SNAP, the School Breakfast and National School Lunch Programs, the Summer Food Service Program, WIC, and the Child and Adult Care Food Program.- Created bespoke ticketing system for awarding winning theatre company Four Larks, powered by WordPress and WooCommerce.

yU+co is a digital innovation studio crafting content and design across all platforms. I worked in the Museums and Special Projects department as their ​Product Manager and ​Front End Developer. ​Clients include The Getty Research Institute, The Los Angeles City Council and Royal Children’s Hospital.- Managed a cross disciplinary team including UX research, copywriters, interns, designers and machine learning.- Assigned team members to projects, managed project details and oversaw the execution of projects from conception through completion.- Developed and implemented robust product roadmaps.- Assist business managers in scoping technical requirements for project bids and briefs.- Architected, designed and developed a platform for discovering the latest creative technology projects from around the world.- Prototyped a librarian chatbot powered by IBM’s Watson.- Championed the role and value of UX and user-centred design to a workplace which was unfamiliar with this methodology.- Created lean creative solutions to complex problems by leveraging and modifying existing codebases, plugins and APIs.- Provided technical advice on integrating web-based augmented reality experiences with Html and CSS for top tier clients.

Unincorporated is a multimedia agency based in Downtown Los Angeles. I was their ​senior full-stack developer and responsible for maintaining and developing all digital assets and managing a small team. Clients include Alaska Air, Hainan Airlines, University of Southern California, Expedia, Schuchart and Nyhus in addition to local businesses.- Worked with designers and product managers to develop and maintain all digital assets for Unincorporated clients.- Advised on and implemented strategies to improve development workflow in small teams.- Advised on appropriate technologies and advantages and limitations of particular platforms for each project. Including cms, security options, hosting providers, email, e-newsletters and website speed optimization.- Kept abreast of trends in UI design and UX and lead discussions on innovation, both for our design approach and work environment.- Prototyped interfaces for client pitches.- Ensured that web applications work well across browsers and platforms, and advise the team on compatibility issues and tradeoffs.- Created templates for user documentation and conducted training sessions with clients and -colleagues.

RMIT University’s web presence is an essential element of the university’s service delivery.The Web Transformation Program transformed RMIT's online presence with new technologies and new ways of working. The program replaced the existing CMS as well as re-design & optimise the broader web presence, information architecture, user experience and back-end technical design of RMIT’s web presence.- Worked in a team to prepare and check content being migrated to new CMS.- Ran multiple quality, quality assurance tests including redirection mapping.- Added relevant metadata to course information, news articles and school pages.- Worked productively in an agile environment, participating in daily stand-ups, regular showcases and retros.- Created video transcripts and checked the site for accessibility requirements.
