I'm back doing my environmental science work as an Environmental Consultant to private clients. Flora and fauna assessments, vegetation management plans, river and creek assessments for controlled activities, erosion works and River Styles and pre-purchase environmental advice. I'm also working for Niche Environmental & Heritage as an Ecologist doing pre clearing surveys, vegetation and fauna management plans and assessments of significance.I was previously the Co-Managing Director & Co-Founder of Youcamp.com - a website for locals to host paying guests for campers and outdoor adventures. Youcamp was first founded in 2013 and later launched in 2016 and is the only private camping website in Australia. The business has attracted lots of media attention and publicity and we work closely with all levels of government to create better regulations for farmers to host campers. For many hosts, their Youcamp income helps to provide another income source.I have worked for 18 years in the Natural Resource Management Industry. I studied at Charles Sturt (Applied Science) and became a Ranger/Senior Ranger. I then specialised in River Rehabilitation and completed a Masters in this field. My last roles were Executive Officer for the Coxs River Water Management Committee, Senior Mine Rehabilitation Scientist in Townsville and River Rehabilitation Officer in Batemans Bay. My passion is smart environmental management, the rich biodiversity of Australia's landscapes and working with all sorts of people to achieve good environmental outcomes.
