I am a kind, creative and empathic person who enjoys working alongside people during their recovery – whatever that looks like for them. I value and am committed to working from a person-centred, strengths-based, trauma-informed, recovery-focused approach. My practice is informed by the Recovery Model, Intentional Peer Support and my lived experience. With extensive experience working in the Community Services/Mental Health Sector, I understand how dual diagnosis, challenges and trauma may inform an individual's experience of recovery. I have a strong commitment to social justice and to supporting people’s self-efficacy and self-advocacy, choices, interests, strengths and goals with empathy. I enjoy working collaboratively with individuals and their supporters to ensure best wrap around support for people to live their best life with independence, dignity, hope, choice, great happiness and joy.
