REZOOM UMD Team➜ Working on developing Software and Hardware for Autonomous Electric Scooters.Other Activities:➜ Developed analytical models for an electrical scooter self-righting mechanism applying engineering first principles, created simulations, constructed prototype, and conducted HIL testing. • Worked closely with the team to design and simulate a Mechanical Obstacle Avoidance Sensor for the Venus Rover taking into consideration the electromechanical, thermal and the material bottlenecks. • Successfully ensured all the competition requirements through design analysis and characterization, and modelled a system which can detect obstacles, valleys, and slopes on the Venusian soil.

Collaborated with a team of 3 in brainstorming and coming up with creative ideas for camouflage, underwater wireless communication, robot attitude tracking and underwater propulsion, and helped in the mathematical modeling of the system. • Qualified amongst top 30 robotics teams in Defense Research Development Organization (DRDO) Robotics Challenge in the West – India zone for the development of a Surveillance Robot. [Provisional Patent Completed]• Facilitated the generation of 2d Drawings, 3d Design Assemblies and creation of prototype of an amphibious robot by integrating a quadrotor, differential drive cart and a buoyancy unit (floater system) in a single spherical chamber. Performed HIL Testing of the Robot.• Created a detailed physical model of the system and interfaced the mechanical, electrical, and thermal sub-modules to work in conjunction. • Optimized the dimensions of the robot by 30% by designing a BLDC motor gearbox to fold-unfold the propellers automatically.• Programmed the differential cart motion on Arduino (C++) and configured the quadrotor using CleanFlight Plugin on Naze32 Flight Controller.
