A member of a team of 15 undergraduate students in the Department of Biotechnology, IIT Kharagpur. iGEM (International Genetically engineered machines) is an annual synthetic Biology competition. Worked on the idea of food spoilage detection kit using a genetically engineered bacteria that produces a red pigment on detection of food spoiling pathogens' activity

One among 9 candidates selected for the ICMR IIT Kharagpur Med Tech Summer Internship programme. Worked on the External Quality Assurance Scheme data analysis automation. Created a time efficient and error-free analysis system which cut down the processing time from a week to 4 hours.

A team of 5 members working on detection kit called ArsenoVista that detects Arsenic concentration in Potable water. The idea was selected for the BEST (Biotechnology Entrepreneur Students' Team) and was awarded the second prize among a pool of 20 ideas and prize money of INR 3 Lacs.
