About Lars Pryds
Lars Pryds er billedkunstner og grafisk designer, bosat i Valby, København. Hans billedkunstneriske arbejde omfatter primært maleri, collage og grafik. Han debuterede på anerkendte, censurerede udstillinger i 1986 og har siden udstillet separat og i gruppesammenhænge på gallerier, museer m.m. i Danmark, Skandinavien, Europa og USA.Lars Pryds har mere end 25 års erfaring som visuel journalist og art director fra Danmarks største dag- og fagblade og har vundet en lang række af internationale designpriser. Han har siden november 2019 været ansat som art director i HK Kommunal. Lars er medejer af Galleri Valdal, et kunstnerdrevet galleri for primært dansk moderne kunst. Lars er uddannet tegner/grafiker fra Kunsthåndværkerskolen i Kolding (nu: Designskolen Kolding) 1987 og er Master i Design fra KADK, Kunstakademiets Designskole i København 2013.
