My journey into the world of technology began unexpectedly. With a degree in education from Laurentian University, I was all set to become a certified teacher. However, the COVID-19 pandemic profoundly altered the education landscape, highlighting the growing importance of technology. While teaching, I introduced my students to the basics of coding, sparking a newfound passion within me.Driven by this passion, I pursued further education in programming, culminating in a full-stack coding bootcamp at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. This intensive program equipped me with the skills and knowledge to pursue a career as a web or software developer.I am eager to join a passionate and personable development team where I can continue to develop my programming skills and contribute meaningfully. My background in outdoor environments has fostered resilience and adaptability—qualities that I bring to any workplace. I understand that embarking on a new career, particularly in development, requires continuous learning and adaptation.Over the past couple of years, I have dedicated myself to honing my programming skills, troubleshooting complex code, and rigorously testing applications and open-source frameworks.
