This experience proved to be very beneficial as time passed and continues. Over three years, I successfully grew the business, improved the local profile, and provided guidance and leadership to the team given our remote location. CBA was a great place to work, however I was approached by a previous manager at Landmark David Woodhouse, to join his team at ANZ. At the conclusion of 2008, amid the GFC, I held personal concerns for the future of Landmark as a standalone financier.
