Engaged to join KPMG's senior leaders in their effort to develop and deliver a new learning & innovation center intended to be KPMG's talent development hub as well as the cultural home of the firm. Dubbed, the KPMG Lakehouse, the 780,000 sq. ft. facility was designed to be the single largest investment KPMG has ever made and it is all directly intended to benefit the employees of the organization. In my role on the team, I developed the structure of the project and organizational support, engaged with the designers to ensure strategic and operational effectiveness in the structures, established the operational processes and experiential journey map. The Lakehouse will deliver highly effective learning and networking opportunities and will serve as the physical manifestation of our culture and investment in our people.

Part of the team that developed, built and implemented the Deloitte University talent investment strategy with a focus on engaged learning, outstanding experiences and performance improvements resulting in better talent attraction and retention. Managed this global talent investment bringing over 60,000 employees to the cultural home of Deloitte every year. Co-led Deloitte L&D teams and directly managed the entire Deloitte University experiences resulting in the significant elevation of the Deloitte brand. Drove the global expansion of the Deloitte University model to 4 continents and hundreds of thousands of participants annually.

As Deloitte University’s Chief Customer Officer, Pete oversaw every detail of the DU experience—from setting the stage for on-site interactions to extending the DU experience to clients and expanding the DU footprint into new markets. His relentless focus on the little things has translated to a powerful experience for thousands of professionals, numerous awards and accolades, and rave reviews from thought leaders, participating professionals and clients alike.

Developed the model for the strategic use of Deloitte University and implemented use cases for learning, culture, community and clients to ensure a solid focus on the mission while leveraging the investment as a brand differentiator in many market segments.

Led the Southeast region, and oversaw all regions, in all areas of the business support functions including real estate, operational services, administrative services, technology implementation, HR support and metrics management.

Managed this highly regarded relocation management consulting firm with operations throughout the U.S. Co-led the acquisition of a global, 5-year project that required the opening of two new locations and doubled the size of the organization.

Led the operations for the DC area across all elements of the internal services of this Amlaw 100 global firm.

Managed all aspects of the operations for this Amlaw 100 law firm throughout my career including finance, operations, real estate, HR, knowledge management, etc. Dow Lohnes merged with Cooley and now operates under that brand.

Managed the accounting departments for this Amlaw 100 firm including serving as a key member of their financial package selection team before returning to Dow, Lohnes as their Controller.
