OverviewAs an Electrical Engineering Technician, I provide support in the design, drafting,and equipment specification for mine hoists and hoist plant systems, specifically the controls and electricalcomponents. I have implemented and provided technical support for data acquisition solutions in mining andmanufacturing environments.Activities• Working within a multi-disciplinary team to offer design solutions and equipment selections for conveyances,sheaves, communication systems, hoist controls, drive systems, motors, and other hoisting plant relatedcomponents.• Collaborates and liaises with customers and suppliers to ensure timely equipment selection and delivery.• Prepares technical and procedural documentation for engineering designs, including AutoCAD drawings andschematics for equipment upgrades and installations.• Integration of HMI applications with the hoist control systems.• Conducts shop testing of new equipment to ensure functionality and performance prior to installation at site.• Provides troubleshooting support to assist customers with any mine hoist system related issues.• Support commissioning of mine hoist systems.• Implementing data acquisition software to obtain, record, analyze and process machinery data.• Integrating data acquisition software with SQL server and provide technical support as required.

• Emphasize kids learning using S.T.E.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field.• Set-up/prepare class material and equipment.• Use platforms, such as Lego WeDo 2.0, Lego Mindstorms Ev3, Vex IQ, Dash and Cue.
