Responsible for strategic and operational development of MSIs approaches to reach underserved populations in a sustainable way, through the public sector engagement or last mile service delivery. MSIs public sector channels Outreach and Public Sector Strengthening) account for an expenditure of over 35M GBP annually with over 9000 FTEs directly supporting these channels. In 2018, 42% of MSIs health impact was delivered through these public sector channels serving over 3.5 Million clients (visits) with outreach teams active 30,000+ locations.RESPONSIBILITIES• Overall strategic leadership and responsible for change management of MSIs public sector service delivery models: outreach and public sector strengthening. This includes the operational model development focused on driving productivity and quality and the long-term sustainability agenda through linking channel development with health financing and Universal Health coverage initiatives. • Support MSIs external and donor relations through the development of messaging and direct representation • Direct in-country and distance technical assistance to the 25 country programs managing a public-sector service delivery channel • Leading global projects including on fleet management, data capturing systems (supporting stock and MIS), development and implementation of global best practices ACHIEVEMENTS• Improved the overall impact of the channels with over 10% (2018) and 40% (2019) vs organizational projections • Increased the efficiency/productivity of the channels with 23% (2018) and 26% (2019) • Evolving MSI’s global fleet project, ensure fleet management supports direct health impact • Reoriented MSIs public sector approach focussing more on responding to context and driving sustainability

RESPONSIBILITIES• Responsible for management and strategic leadership of the Zambia programme which serves over 150 000 clients per year through: one flagship MSI centre; 8 mobile clinical outreach teams; 4 MS ladies; and 18 social franchise clinics, providing comprehensive SRH services throughout Zambia.• Oversaw a budget of £4 million, ensuring efficient and effective management of financial, administrative and logistical resources and human resource planning for over 100 staff members• Developed and implemented the 2020 strategy focussed on impact, quality and sustainability.• Ensured adherence to MSI minimum standards and assures quality operations in line with annual and long-term strategic goals and objectives.• Oversaw security and risk monitoring and management.
