I'm a trial lawyer in the Cleveland, Ohio office of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote. I am licensed to practice in Ohio and Pennsylvania. My experience includes over 41 years of courtroom experience as lead trial counsel in numerous state and federal cases successfully tried to jury verdict. I've represented companies and individuals in various product liability litigation, industrial accidents, construction claims, class actions, chemical exposures, fire losses, OSHA workplace investigations and high-value business disputes. Whether through a jury verdict or skillful preparation and negotiation, my goal in any case is to favorably terminate the litigation as promptly and efficiently as possible. I am a member of the Defense Research Institute's Product Liability and Toxic Tort Committees. I'm also a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC), and the Trial Attorney's of America.I'm also a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and have been recognized in Best Lawyers in America since 2016. I've always been interested in manufacturing and industrial hygiene and safety. Having represented hundreds of industrial manufacturers over the years, I learned that many are in need of specialized legal services in the area occupational safety regulations. This led me to seek a specialization in OSHA and industrial safety. I have completed over 70 hours of training at approved OSHA Institute facilities, including the University of Cincinnati. I am authorized as an OSHA General Industry Outreach Trainer. I represent manufacturers in OSHA hearings, PSM audits and litigation and I consult with these businesses to improve and refine their regulatory compliance. In addition, I have broad experience assisting companies in responding to catastrophic events and losses, including on-site investigation. I also consult in a variety of commercial disputes, injury litigation, toxic tort litigation, premises liability and asbestos cases.When I'm not representing clients, I am an avid runner and sports fan and love CrossFit. I also enjoy spending family time hiking, cooking and traveling.
