I’m an innovation leader and human performance scientist at the nexus of health, wellness & performance. I previously built innovation labs in finance & tech. I'm a behavioral scientist by training and now a founder & doctoral candidate researching ways to PerformWell under stress. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _My Why:I have a neurological condition which requires that I manage my stress. I need to 𝘣𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 to 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭. We all do to an extent. But for me, it's not a nice to have. I have to focus on the moments that matter.So I embedded myself where the scientific innovations are being pioneered in health, wellness and performance.To take back my own story, I chose to teach what I needed to learn. And I’ve found mesearch is my best research.I focus my work through PerformWell, a way for me to collaborate with the world’s best to help people, teams and companies who need to perform well too._ _ _ _ _ _ _ _My Journey:The path here has surprised me. It’s been a fun ride which I’ve mostly enjoyed and always grown from, especially the toughest spots.It’s involved getting a CPA and two masters, leading projects all over the world, running a nonprofit and building a startup plus a few behavioral science labs. Most importantly, I hope I’ve had a positive impact by focusing on people over profit. Here’s a few fun problems I’ve tackled along the way. - At PerformWell I’m using my doctorate to partner with the world’s best to tackle pressing issues and help people who need to perform well. - At Peloton I measured how classes like meditation, HIIT and strength impacted member outcomes like focus, resilience, performance, culture.- At PwC I partnered with cutting edge innovators like the CMU lab to pilot new ways to empower people and team wellbeing, resilience and growth.- At PwC I led the Global Insurance CCO Forum, a nonprofit of the world’s biggest 25+ insurers formed to share best practice and advance next practice.- At PwC I helped build a startup which we scaled from four folks with a white board to a global team.
