I managed all aspects of technology at the Erith Group. The traditional IT function, asp well as communications (mobile voice & data, VoIP and fixed-line systems), internal infrastructure (copiers to cabling) our use of Cloud-based technologies (first UK user of Google Apps) and the disaster recovery plan.Whilst at The Erith Group I secured savings of over £1.1m using improved supply chain, cloud computing and the re-negotiation of key contracts. During this time the Group turnover more than doubled with staff levels now at around 250.I was also present during the destruction of the group HQ by a catastrophic fire - putting into place the DR plan, relocating and re-tooling well over 150 members of staff.
