In addition to is role of CEO, he has responsibilities on the internationalization process, strategic planning of R&D activities, on the establishment of strategic partnerships with business organizations and academic as well as on the company’s products innovation strategy.Following Viatecla’s internationalization strategy, he is the co-founder and CEO of BYSENSE Ltda., an IT (Information Technologies) Brazilian Company that represents Viatecla’s products in Brazil, since 2011.Between 2000 and 2003 he was the founder and managing partner of Dot on the Box, an interactive TV company, having also been the founder of Netviagens.com, the main online travel agency in Portugal.With a large experience in the IT sector, he has done consulting work for several companies during his professional career in the area of Information Technology and Communications applied to the Tourism and Media industries, being Olivetti North America one of those companies.
