During the training I was introduced to smart grid, smart meters, DCUs, outage management system. A visit to Puducherry, from 9th August 2013 to 11th august 2013, here the pilot project of smart grid is installed. On my visit got acquaint with the working of real smart meters, DCUs, transformer monitoring unit, outage management system.

I was introduced to SCADA system, RTU AND WAMS.
