Developed the AXS Android application, with versions in US, UK, and Sweden. Implemented analytics and error/crash reporting, giving insight into how people are using the app and drastically increasing its stability and increasing app installs by over 300%. Created both the back end and the front end of the inbox messaging system. The back end is a RESTful web service that stores the data in MongoDB delivers messages to the user over GCM and APNS. Implemented geofences using the Gimbal SDK (http://www.gimbal.com/), allowing targeted messages to be sent to users in certain locations. Created AXS Android SDK for consumption by third parties -- includes geofences, inbox messages, push notifications, and user identity services.Promoted to team lead for AXS Mobile (iOS and Android). Performed code reviews, interviews, and provided technical guidance for both iOS and Android. Wrote detailed technical tasks for other members of the team to implement. Successfully mentored and integrated new members into the team. Developed, debugged, tested, and published iOS and Android apps.Improved page performance on the AXS.com pages in PHP by creating a page-level caching system which cut down the number of Redis and database requests needed by 90% and decreased page load time by 80%.Created proof of concepts for a new ticket purchase product in AngularJS and ReactJS.
