Short version: I lead and manage a team that makes sites and apps on the web. Mostly with Vue.js, always responsive.Long version:I am responsible for hiring and managing a team of database, back-end, and front-end developers. We build customer-facing marketing sites, customer-facing web apps, marketing emails, and internal apps for a wide range of company uses. I meet with company leadership and stakeholders, as well as third-party contacts, to understand requirements and plan projects. I then work closely with the design team to design the UI. Finally, I manage the project through completion and beyond (there are always updates and bug fixes, as well as keeping dependencies up to date). I am also responsible for deciding on the technologies and architecture that we use. I'm always trying to find that optimal sweet spot which balances speed of project completion with a thorough and bug-free launch.Super wide view version:I am responsible for everything related to my company's software engineering, and we do a lot more things in-house than most automotive companies.
