Assessment of EQ damaged properties , sub floor works and repair strategies

Key Responsibilities Presently, a seconded member of the Lumley Canterbury Recovery Unit (CRU) residential team that has been established to progress residential insurance claims, on behalf of Lumley Insurance, for the rebuild/repair of homes affected by earthquake. Apply expertise in scheduling and prioritisation of projects within the repair/rebuild programme (MS Project/Primavera) Maintenance/updates, involving data operation in MS Project, Excel and Action Step (project database) to ensure programme reflects as accurately as possible the progress of individual claims/projects. Working collaboratively with CRU Project team members (Project Managers, Case Managers, Quantity Surveyors and other team members) Plan and Monitor progress of individual projects within the overall CRU programme that includes: Preparation of individual CRU Team schedules for review and delivery Working with and in support of CRU Operations Manager, to identify potential programme risks Assist in development of mitigation strategies to offset any anticipated programme delays. Working with and in support of CRU Operations Manager, to model optimization scenarios for the overall programme with outcomes to assist in ongoing internal and external resource planning and ultimately to support ongoing communications with customers regarding programme roll-out. Supporting information flow to the Management for weekly and monthly progress reporting to Steering Group and Operational Management Team on programme related issues including: Expected time to completion. Progress to baseline for key indicator work streams (e.g. contract award, practical completions etc). Programme constraints and mitigation (e.g. internal / external resourcing).
