The Mission SP was a 30 associate crankshaft manufacturing and design company making the world’s highest quality crankshafts for the racing, automotive and aviation markets. It was founded in May 2004 by Pete Spence (CEO) and Gerold Pankl, an Austrian investor with a long successful pedigree in manufacturing for racing and automotive. The company served the Formula 1, NASCAR, WEC (LeMans), MotoGP, IndyCar, DTM, and WRC race Series among others. My Part Built and ran the company on a daily basis. Held accountability for business plan development, financial administration, staffing, sales, customer support, operations management, supply chain, product design, and quality management. Designed and oversaw the construction of a state-of-art LEAN manufacturing facility.
