As Director of Education, I lead the day-to-day operation of the education department of the Pediatric Pandemic Network. Responsibilities include:Develop and execute the Pediatric Pandemic Network strategic vision for public health and workforce education.Partner with the Pediatric Pandemic Network COO and marketing team to identify learning needs across partner hospitals and create for dissemination targeted educational solutions that translate evidence-based practices into multimodal learning experiences. Maintain a remote team of seven full-time staff by hiring, training, and managing roles including project manager, instructional designer, elearning developer, and researcher. Our team also consists of a variety of contractors completing tasks related to generative AI, web development, video production, medical illustration, animation, and UX.Oversee the creation, implementation, accreditation, and maintenance of educational content including storyline modules, animated videos, serious games, cohort-based learning experiences, and webinars.Steward the documentation process for internal and external audiences with a focus on streamlining processes, enhancing professional development, and supercharging learner-centered outcomes.Establish quarterly goals for the team and lead collaborative sessions to establish the metrics and KPIs our team uses to assess the effectiveness of our educational programs and enable continuous improvement.Lead a data-driven approach to decision-making by reporting data from various sources, including SmartSuite, AI generated meeting summaries, REDCap, and Learning Analytics.Oversee the implementation of a learning ecosystem consisting of multiple platforms with a single vision to optimize our ability to meet learners where, when, and how they prefer to learn.
