Customer Service Rep-Corresponds activities regarding to after market spare parts for sale of products and services for government sales: Examines performance requirements, delivery schedules, and estimates of costs of material, equipment, and production to ensure completeness and accuracy of customer needs and satisfaction. Prepares and submits bids to customers. Negotiates contract with customers. Advises planning and production departments of contractual rights and obligations. Compiles data for preparing estimates. Buyer- Coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services, raw materials, equipment, tools, parts and supplies. Reviews requisitions. Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. Prepares purchase orders. Reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority. Maintains computerized procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories. Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.. Expedites delivery of goods to users.
